Many of the same themes are explored during this series, but we do focus on the specific role of middle leaders and the associated juggling act that many middle leaders experience. This series will start by exploring your own leadership purpose and why collaboration is at the heart of educational leadership. We will move on to how to encourage teamwork and build trust in a collaborative culture. Finally, the series will be wrapped up with strategies for leading change and improvement, and the processes to get buy-in from diverse participants.
We will provide practical strategies/frameworks for:
Having the "hard" conversations
Eliciting thinking from a wider group of peers
Seeking out different perspectives
Understanding personality types and how to work with them

The series will start by exploring your own leadership purpose and why collaboration is at the heart of educational leadership. These 4 half days will build upon one another and explore key leadership themes associated with collaboration.
How is a collaborative culture established, monitored and maintained? How might you co-create strategy and evaluate impact and improvement, the real measure of one's leadership effectiveness.? Finally, the series will be wrapped up with strategies for building change momentum, and what the processes should look like to get buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
The workshop series will “dig deeper” and encourage participants to think about and explore:
What effective leadership looks like in a school
Reflect on your own leadership
How to provide leadership in learning
Strategies to ‘take the temperature of your school’s organisational culture
How to build positive trust with colleagues
How to develop emerging leaders and devolve accountability
The leadership problems and areas you are actively working on
How will I know I am having an impact as a leader?
