The Collaborative Leadership for Senior Leaders
The workshop series has 4 sessions:
Friday 10th June: Leading Learning - Leading Collaboratively
Friday 1st July: Building and Leading a Collaborative Culture
Friday 29th July: Co-creating Strategy and Measuring Collective Impact
Friday 19th August: Leading Change to get Collective Ownership
Part 1: Leading Collaboratively
The series will start by exploring your own leadership purpose and why collaboration is at the heart of educational leadership. These 4 half days will build upon one another and explore key leadership themes associated with the theme of collaboration.
How is a collaborative culture established, monitored and maintained? How might you co-create strategy and evaluate impact and improvement, the real measure of one's leadership effectiveness.? Finally the series will be wrapped up with strategies for building change momentum, and what should the processes look like to get buy in from diverse stakeholders .
The workshop series will “dig deeper” and encourage participants to think about and explore:
What effective leadership looks like in a school
Reflect on your own leadership
How to provide leadership of learning
Strategies to ‘take the temperature’ of your school’s organisational culture
How to build positive trust with colleagues
How to develop emerging leaders and devolve accountability
The leadership problems and areas you are actively working on
How will I know I am having an impact as a leader?
What do I do when things are not going well?

Investment: $650 for 4 x half days

Collaborative Leadership for Middle Leaders
The workshop series has 3 sessions:
Friday 26 August 2022: Leading, Learning, and Leading Collaboratively
Friday 09 September 2022: Building and Leading a Collaborative Culture
Friday 23 September 2022: Leading Change to get Collective Ownership
Many of the same themes are explored during this series, but we do focus on the specific role of middle leaders and the associated juggling act that many middle leaders experience. This series will start by exploring your own leadership purpose and why collaboration is at the heart of educational leadership. We will move onto how to encourage teamwork and build trust in a collaborative culture. Finally the series will be wrapped up with strategies for leading change and improvement, and the processes to get buy in from diverse participants.
We will provide practical strategies/frameworks for:
Having the "hard" conversations
Eliciting thinking from a wider group of peers
Seeking out different perspectives
Understanding personality types and how to work with them
Utilising influencing skills skilfully
How to build positive trust with colleagues
Time: 8.30am - 11.30am (Zoom)
Investment: $500 for 3 x half days
