Sarah Martin is Principal at Stonefields School. She is an educational 'provocateur' who thrives on problem-solving, conceptualising solutions, developing and implementing strategy, maintaining change momentum, building individuals' and team capacity, and challenging teachers' and leaders' mindsets and thinking. As an experienced school leader, she has significant expertise to draw upon, and a strong desire to improve outcomes for all.
Emily Ruffell is our Schooltalk innovation lead. She works with schools, not only in getting SchoolTalk up and running, but also in supporting them to create the optimal conditions for its success. Her expertise in designing rich and relevant learning opportunities, teacher inquiry, building learner agency, and evaluating impact, provide a great platform for this work. Emily has been at Stonefields since 2013 and was an AP for 4 years.
Jana Benson is our curriculum and learner agency lead. She has extensive experience of working with schools in areas of local curriculum development, writing graduate profiles, evaluation of teacher impact, digital learning, and leading and coaching collaborative inquiry. She is passionate about developing learner agency, and has actively pursued this in her lead CoL role, heading up a TLIF project, and in her current doctoral study.
Chris Bradbeer's expertise is particularly in the field of innovative learning environments, and in teacher collaboration. He's been an AP at Stonefields since it opened in 2011. Chris is a Research Fellow on the Innovative Learning Environments & Teacher Change Project 2016-2019 being run by The University of Melbourne. He is currently completing a PhD on teacher collaboration in ILEs.
