About Stonefields School

Stonefields School is a state primary school in Auckland, New Zealand, a few km from the central city. It opened on a greenfields site in 2011 with 50 learners. Since then, it has become known as an innovative organisation, with strongly conceptualised and articulated vision, language, and pedagogy for learning and teaching; with significant focuses on collaborative professionalism, professional learning, and ongoing improvement. Currently 700 year 1-8 learners attend.

Stonefields School is part of the Manaiakalani and Te Roopu Pourewa Communities of Learning, the Global Schools' Alliance, a partner school on the AUT Master of Teaching & Learning programme.
